Template handling
Template handling
Hide/remove guide layers before export. Template lines must not be visible in the final artwork.
Bleed
Bleed
In our templates, the outer blue line is the bleed line — not the cut line. Extend the background of your design to this line to prevent white edges after cutting. Keep all important text and logos inside the inner pink line.
Cut line
Cut line
When using our templates, the inner pink line is the cut line — your design will be trimmed here.
The area between the pink cut line and the outer blue bleed line is only for avoiding white edges, so do not place important elements there.
Only if you need a custom cut line, create it as a vector path using the spot color CutContour (#E6007E) with 0.25 pt stroke.
Spot gloss
Spot Gloss
If you want spot gloss, you must create vector shapes so the printer knows where to print the effect. Use the spot color RDG_Gloss (#3AAA35) and name the layer in your file Spot Gloss. If you use multiple gloss layers and want them to differ, create one separate layer per pass and name them clearly (e.g. Spot Gloss 1, Spot Gloss 2, Spot Gloss 3 …). Alternatively, you can send us one separate file per gloss layer, named accordingly.
White ink
White ink
If you need white ink, create a separate vector layer so the printer knows where to print white. Use the spot color RDG_WHITE (#A59C99) and name the layer in your file White. White will be printed in areas where effects like holographic foil should not show through.
Color mode
Color mode
Create all designs in CMYK. RGB/HEX is not suitable for print production.
Export settings
Export settings
